Accessibility Statement for The Amauris Vienna
Status of the Statement
This statement was newly formulated on 8 September 2025 and is based on the currently available information regarding the accessibility of The Amauris Vienna, as well as an evaluation by qualified third parties (e.g., an external audit provider).
Scope
This accessibility statement applies to the website of The Amauris Vienna, as well as any associated mobile applications or digital booking platforms (e.g., shop or voucher sections).
1. Conformity with Accessibility Standards
The Amauris Vienna aims to comply with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the European Standard EN 301 549, in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102. Currently, the website and mobile application are partially compliant with these requirements.
2. Non-Accessible Content & Exceptions
a) PDF Documents (e.g., Gift Vouchers)
PDF documents available for download on the website or app may contain elements such as alt texts or tags that are not preserved correctly when printed. As a result, the printed version may not be accessible. However, the digital version remains largely accessible.
b) System-Generated Emails and Receipts
Automatically generated emails (e.g., booking confirmations, receipts) currently do not fully meet accessibility requirements. Improvements are already planned and will be implemented shortly.
3. Disproportionate Burden
No disproportionate burden is claimed for the accessibility issues mentioned above.
4. Legal Applicability
The above-mentioned content—particularly printed PDF documents—is not subject to accessibility regulations as long as it is not provided in a digital, accessible form.
5. Review & Preparation of the Statement
This statement was created based on an evaluation by a specialized provider who developed and audited the website and has already implemented the necessary measures to improve accessibility (e.g., audit service providers such as Incert, etc.).
